Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) on Tuesday, Brooklyn College sophomore, Dennis Shender, earned an Honorable Mention for his efforts last week.   He helped lead the team to a 3-0 record on the week. It's Shender's first weekly honor of the season.  

Shender went a perfect 3-0 in both No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles on the week. In Wednesday's conference win at Lehman, he scored a 6-0 win in doubles before winning in singles, (6-1, 6-1).  On Thursday against Purchase, he clinched a 4-3 victory for Brooklyn with a super-tiebreaker victory, (6-4, 3-6, 10-8).  He closed out the week against St. Joseph's Long Island with a 6-1 win in doubles and (6-1, 6-3) singles victory.  

The Bulldogs are back in action on the road at USMMA on Tuesday, 4/14, at 4pm.
