Brooklyn College Athletics

College: Made an immediate impact in her first and only season with the Bulldogs, helping to lead the team to a CUNYAC South Division Championship and a second straight appearance in the ECAC Division III Metro Tournament. In 2009-10, played in all 28 games on the season, while making 27 starts. Averaged 27.5 minutes per game, shooting 54.3% (177-for-326) from the field, averaging 15.9 points and 9.5 rebounds per game, all team-highs. In CUNYAC, ranked fifth in scoring, eighth in rebounding, first in field goal percentage, seventh in free-throw percentage and 11th in blocked shots. Nationally (out of 500), Lyons ranked 32nd in field goal percentage, 95th in rebounds per game and 101st in points per game. Named CUNYAC Player of the Week back-to-back weeks in December (12/7/09 & 12/14/09). Named to 2010 CUNYAC All-Star First Team and 2010 All-Metropolitan Division III Third Team.

Prior to BC: In 2005-06, while at Monroe Community College, played in 27 games, averaging 2.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Key member of the Monroe Community College Division I NJCAA National Championship Team in 2006, which went 31-1. In 2006-07, played in 19 games, while making two starts. Averaged 5.8 points per game and 4.6 rebounds per game, helping lead Monroe CC to a 30-3 record and a seventh place showing in the national tournament. Played the 2007-08 season at NCAA Division I Hofstra University. Appeared in four games.

High School: First-Team All-City as a junior and senior at James Madison HS.

Personal:  Sociology major.
