Biography
College: Second-year member of Bulldogs...Transferred from Monroe as a junior in 2015-2016...In 2015-16 was Bulldogs leading scorer (14.8 ppg) and rebounder (11.2 rpg). Named First-Team All-CUNYAC. Named to All-Met Sportswriters Second Team. Ranked second on BC with 22 blocked shots, and third on the squad with 45 steals. Named to 2016 CUNYAC Championship All-Tournament Team.
Prior To BC: Played two seasons at Monroe College...Was a part of two region and district champions..Competed in national tournament as freshman and sophomore...Scored 15 points and pulled down 15 boards as a freshman in a national tournament win over Louisburg...Monroe was 50-22 during two seasons with the Mustangs.
High School: Attended Bishop Loughlin...Four-year member of the girl's varsity basketball team...Competed in rigorous Brooklyn / Queens CHSAA Division I.
Personal: Children and Youth Studies major...parent is Bertha Colbert...Born in 1994.
Coach Lang Says: "Olivia was our leading scorer and rebounder a year ago, and someone who other teams focused on stopping. She is very athletic and a fearless rebounder who can score both inside and out. She has set high goals this season and we are expecting a great senior season."
