Brooklyn College Athletics

College: First-year member of the BC Women's Basketball team. In 2012-2013, averaged a team-best 12.5 points per game, while shooting 42.1% (135-321) from the field and 39.7% (77-194) from beyond the arc. The Ellicott City, MD native also shot 85.7% (42-49) from the free throw line, to go along with 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 2.1 assists per game, while logging in a team-leading 27.7 minutes per contest. Named to The 2012-2013 All Met Division III Women's College Basketball team.Also named a City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) First Team All-Star, an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Metro Women's Basketball Second Team All-Star and a D3Hoops.com Women's Basketball Third Team All-Atlantic Region selection.


Prior To BC: Spent three seasons at Division II South Carolina Aiken... In 2011-2012, played in 26 games, averaged 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per game, averaging 12.4 minutes per game. Team won the Peach Belt Conference championship to earn an automatice bid into the NCAA Division II Tournament... In 2010-2011, played in 31 games, averaged 3.0 points per game over 9.9 minutes per game. Team earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Division II Tournament.... In 2009-2010, played in 27 games, making four starts. Averaged 3.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game over 12.2 minutes per game.

High School: Attended Mt. Hebron...Received Most Improved player after sophomore season... helped lead team to a perfect 28-0 record during her junior season in 2007-08 en route to earning the county, region and state championship ... Chosen first team All-Howard County ... During her senior season in 2008-09, averaged 13.7 points per game, was once again named first team All-Howard County ... Her 84.5 percent free throw shooting led her conference along with her 4.4 steals per game ... Bowen also knocked down a conference-best 54 three-pointers... Also played lacrosse... Named to the Mt. Hebron High School Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.

Personal: Exercise Science Major... Parents are Otis and Elizabeth Bowen... Born on March 25, 1991... Transferred to Brooklyn from the Univeristy of South Carolina - Aiken.
