Brooklyn, NY --- The Brooklyn College Cheerleading Coaching Staff has named
Malika Austin as the Bulldog Cheerleader of the Month for November.
The Brooklyn College Cheerleading Coaching Staff would like to congratulate
Malika Austin, also known as “Texas”, for her outstanding performance on the Brooklyn College Cheerleading Squad. When Malika joined the squad as a freshman, she had no prior experience with stunting. Throughout the years, and now as a senior, we have watched her flourish into an outstanding cheerleader and academic student. Always having an upbeat attitude, she keeps her teammates focused as a collective unit with positive words throughout practice inspiring them to stay sharp, precises on their toes, and eager to learn more. Austin says, “We need to be great not only for competition but throughout the whole season, so whatever you're doing whether its basing, backing, flying, cheering, dancing, or just plain ole' spiriting, doing it with your whole heart is what makes you a great cheerleader".
It gives the coaching staff and I great pride to award
Malika Austin with Cheerleader of the Month for the month of November.
